Become a Support Group Facilitator

Do you have a heart for those who are hurting? We have many needs in the church body to serve those that are struggling with various life circumstances. We will be starting our fall season soon by offering many care and support groups. For more information about facilitating any of the groups listed below, contact Shelly Geoffroy at or 952-224-3023.

Divorce Care – a support group for individuals that are experiencing a divorce or separation. It is helpful if you have experienced and moved through this difficult life experience and are able to help restore hope in a Christ centered ministry.

DivorceCare 4 Kids - a support group for children ages 6-12 whose parents are experiencing a divorce or separation that has impacted their lives moving forward. Facilitators provide loving support in a 13 week curriculum based ministry.

Griefshare - a 13 week group for individuals that have lost a loved one. This group seeks caring facilitators for this DVD and workbook curriculum based support group ministry which runs for 13 weeks.  If you have a heart to help those work through the grief process, this is a wonderful Christ centered ministry that offers hope and healing.

Fresh Start Addiction Recovery – Do you desire to encourage and help those that are struggling with an addiction? Have you possibly walked this path yourself and received victory through Christ? Fresh Start offers men and women groups on Thursday nights to support those struggling with addiction.

Addiction Recovery for Students - Seeking men and women to lead a teen based recovery group or groups for those under age 18 that are struggling with drugs or alcohol.

Depression/Anxiety- a group to help both men and women (in different groups) who are struggling with depression, fear, worry and anxiety in their lives. Group materials provided for facilitators.

Chronic Pain - currently not offered as a group but has become a growing need for those that are suffering with ongoing, chronic pain or illness. We would love to explore your loving involvement in this care group to facilitate for women.
